There are 5 types of claims:
  1. General Claim
    • A formal request or assertion made by an individual or entity to seek compensation, resolution, or acknowledgment for something they believe they are entitled to.
  2. Medical Claim
    •  A formal request submitted by a healthcare provider, patient, or policyholder to a health insurance company or another payer, seeking reimbursement for medical services, treatments, medications, or healthcare expenses incurred.
  3. Mileage Claim
    • A formal request submitted by an individual, typically an employee or contractor, to be reimbursed for the costs incurred while using their personal vehicle for business-related travel. This claim involves recording the number of miles or kilometers traveled and calculating the associated expenses based on an agreed-upon reimbursement rate.
  4. Overtime Claim (OT)
    • A formal request submitted by an employee to be compensated for working additional hours beyond their regular or standard work schedule.
  5. Petty Cash Claim
    • A formal request submitted by an individual or employee within an organization to access funds from a designated petty cash fund for small, miscellaneous expenses that occur in the course of business operations.
